live lookout side no more snow for now here in the city, a few flurries earlier today much different scene to our south check out these pictures sent by fox 5 viewers looks like some may have gotten several inches of snow. in the weather center with details gary how much did they see. down there, we know at the courthouse they picked up 5 inches of snow and in some places around 10 inches of snow, right around 9 inches of snow pardon me, so there was good snow it was all to the south and basically, all we ended up here was just some light flurry activity, and from time to time i think we will see some this evening let me show you on radar, right now, basically down to the city, if we get anything it may be a little snow shower farther south and east, most of it now will be a little sprinkle or light rain shower temperatures have warmed up into the 40s for

two janitors at an elementary school are accused of tieing up boyleaving them gagged in the bathroom. >> tonight parents are wondering how this could happen. >> reporter: four 10-year-old boys were bound and gagged in a school bathroom here on thursday morning, the most shocking part, it was done by school employees. when we spoke to the school board president the district was taking full responsibility. >> we care about the children, we are not ignoring the situation whatsoever. we are looking at it from every aspect to see where and how we can improve if anything was done wrong on our end, certainly not if anything, i am

improved this poll in the last week, week and a half primarily, because santorum has declined and as santorum declined, helping romney, now he has got a 10 point lead, average, not too long ago, santorum had a national lead, so, this has been up and down and as it stands now romney is moving back up. so the next poll we're marked is out of ohio where santorum and romney appear to be in a dead heat, 33% each here, since ohio is such a critical state tomorrow in this primary race this is one to watch isn't it? >> sure is this is a place where both candidates have spent time, the media is looking at it, santorum really is hoping to win ohio, so that he can appeal to working class midwesterners and the industrial sector of the country if romney pulls victory

the nationals have positioned themselves for the long hall signing 10 players through the 2015 season. dave feldman spent time with him. for the first time in their 8 year existence the nats have a good idea who will take the field when hay open the season. no -- when they open the season. danny espinosa played 158 games last year i asked the 25-year- old 2nd baseman what goals he had set for himself in 2012. >> yeah, i definitely want to win gold glove, that is the biggest thing i have always wanted to win, since i was a little kid, i have alms looked at defensive shortstops and defensive second bases i looked up to that. so i definitely have my goals set on getting gold glove but offensively i just want to improve my numbers i think my average can be so much better than what it was, just losing

so what does it feel like with the wind chill value, 32 here, most western neighbourhoods upper 20s to lower 30s i am just telling you the wind is going to continue to blow with us through the evening hours too, so that means the wind chill values will stay pretty much where they are now if not colder so lingering shower possibles at 7:00 p.m. that may be a snow shower or a rain shower no big deal we are not expecting any delay, breezy 9:35 p.m. feel like in the 20s a little calmer, fewer clouds at 11:00 p.m., again with a little bit of wind out there, it will feel colder than that. this is sentinel radar the current picture we don't see any more snow showers back up to the northwest again just a hit or miss shower down to the south if we take you back last 6 hours we see this pocket of energy, that rotated through, right there, and out of here and that is what provided the snowfall totals in some cases,

down around charlottesville, they had close to 8, 9, maybe a few spots close to 10 inches that was significant we had 5 inches at the courthouse we did get that report again most of ended up with a few snow showers here the bigger picture this is currently through the nations mid-section really nice comfortable too that is high pressure it will build in for us the next few days, we are expecting pretty good stuff breezy this evening, 20s suburbs, 30 here in town wake up tomorrow morning sunshine and 33, i do expect we will see some clouds through the day from time to time tomorrow but again loads of sunshine, underneath this high pressure this is future cast tomorrow morning 10:00 a.m. again, a few clouds, but really not bad, the high will scoot to the east of us and that will open the door to reach down and grab the warmer temperatures and bring them up really the warm up begins on wednesday we are talking wednesday up around 60 degrees or so, and the way
